Fraser Downs Picks – December 6, 2024

Fraser Downs will host another seven-dash on Friday night. There is only Pick 4 kicking off in the fourth race that runs till the end of the card.

The headline race of the evening is the $10,000 Preferred which takes place in the fourth. The morning line favourite in the field of five at 8-5 is Itll be Fine (Hes Watching). The five-year-old gelding has won two of his last three starts and now has nine wins on the year. His most recent win came in a mile time of 1:53. His next trip to winner’s circle will mark his 25th time in his career. Richard Lancaster trains Itll Be Fine and David Hudon will be in the bike.

At 9-5, Sunshine Boy (Sunshine Beach) will be tough competition in the race. The six-year-old gelding has finished runner-up behind Itll Be Fine twice in his last three starts. Although he hasn’t won since Oct. 18, he has score 10 times in 2024 . Jim Marino trains Sunshine Boy and Scott Knight is schedule to handle the reins.
