Cal Expo set to kickoff new season

Harness racing is set to return to California on Friday, Dec. 13 as the new season begins at Cal Expo. Post time on Fridays is scheduled for 6:45 p.m. PST (9:45 p.m. EST). Beginning Dec. 28, Cal Expo will also have racing starting at 6:30 p.m. PST (9:30 p.m. EST).

The stake season will also kick off on opening night if the Funicello / Holt requires eliminations. The California Sired Stakes for four-year-olds will start on Feb. 7 while the three-year-olds begin on Feb. 21. There will be $650,500 given out in stake purses during the meet.
