Fraser Downs will host nine-dash on Thursday night. There is earl Pick 4 kicks off in the second race and the late Pick 4 begins in the sixth. There is also Super High 5’s in the eighth and ninth race.

The main event Thursday night is the $10,000 Filly & Mare Preferred which takes place in the seventh. The 8-5 morning line favourite, Grey Sea (Custard The Dragon) is looking to return to the winner’s circle for the first time since Nov. 21. Her last win was in a 1:53.2 lifetime best. The five-year-old mare has won eight times this year and 22 times in her career. Gordon Abbott trains Grey Sea and John Abbott will be in the bike.

With three wins in a row, Outlaw Spiced Rum (Blue Burner) has earned her way into the top class. The six-year-old mare has a lifetime mark of 1:53.4 and has been posting similar mile times lately. She already has 20 wins this year in 36 starts. She is definitely one of the top mares in Western Canada this year. Rod Therres trains and will be driving Outlaw Spiced Rum.
