Cal Expo Picks – December 13, 2024

A new meet kicks off at Cal Expo Friday evening with a 12-dash card. The card features two Pick 5 wagers with the first starting in the first race and the late Pick 5 kicks off in the sixth. There is also a Pick 7 wager that begins in the third race.

The second race of the night is the $8,250 Open Trot, and a field of six will go to post in the early-season battle. The pacers will have their Open in the sixth and will fight over $8,000 in prize money. There will also be two $5,000 eliminations (Race 7 & 10) for the Funicello/Holt Elim, each featuring seven entries.
