Century Downs Picks – May. 16, 2026

Saturday afternoon racing returns to Century Downs Racetrack and Casino with a 10-race card set to roll under the Alberta sun. While there are no carryovers on the board just yet, the early Pick 5 (Races 1-5) and late Pick 4 (Races 7-10) still offer plenty of opportunities for players looking to build some momentum heading into the weekend.

Picks Recap

After each card, we recap how our selections performed. A top selection must win to count as a success. The second selection must finish first or second, while the third selection must finish in the top three.

For payouts, top selections are calculated using a $2 win wager, second selections using a $2 place wager, and third selections using a $2 show wager. In the event of a scratch, that horse is removed while the rest of the selections remain unchanged. All payouts have the initial $2 wager deducted to reflect profit or loss.

Results will be tracked throughout the season and compared against our records at other tracks.
