Century Downs Picks – May. 23, 2026 – WRDC Edition

Saturday afternoon racing at Century Downs Racetrack and Casino comes with much more than just betting intrigue as the Western Regional Driving Championship takes center stage from Races 3–10. Eight of the top drivers in Western Canada will battle through the eight-race competition for a coveted spot in the National Driving Championship, adding even more intensity to an already strong 10-race card. The Early Pick 5 gets things started in Races 1–5, while the Late Pick 4 closes out the afternoon in Races 7–10 as some of the best reinsmen in the west fight for regional bragging rights.

Picks Recap

After each card, we recap how our selections performed. A top selection must win to count as a success. The second selection must finish first or second, while the third selection must finish in the top three.

For payouts, top selections are calculated using a $2 win wager, second selections using a $2 place wager, and third selections using a $2 show wager. In the event of a scratch, that horse is removed while the rest of the selections remain unchanged. All payouts have the initial $2 wager deducted to reflect profit or loss.

Results will be tracked throughout the season and compared against our records at other tracks.
